World Disability Billiards and Snooker (WDBS) has announced that Vice Chairman Simon Berrisford has resigned from the Board with immediate effect.
A long-time supporter of WDBS, initially as a title sponsor and coach, Berrisford joined the Board in 2018 and has played an important role in the development of the organisation over the past four years.
Nigel Mawer QPM, WDBS Chairman said: “I would like to thank Simon for his contribution to WDBS during his time with us. He has made a great contribution to us both prior to and since joining the team and we all wish him well for the future.”
Simon Berrisford said: “Since I first attended a WDBS tournament in 2017 I have had nothing but admiration for all the players who have proved that snooker is a sport for all, and I am delighted to have been able to play a part in helping to create more opportunities for them to compete.
“I hope that WDBS will continue to go from strength to strength and would like to thank everybody who has supported us during my time with the organisation.”
