Vizion to Sponsor WDBS Welsh Open
World Disability Billiards and Snooker (WDBS) is pleased to announce that Vizion Insurance Brokers will sponsor the upcoming Welsh Open tournament for the first time.
The new agreement represents the first foray into disability snooker for Vizion, building upon its existing link with the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards and its 147 Club affiliation programme.
Set to run from 12-14 August 2022 at Redz Snooker, Cwmbran, the unique event will include a two-day tournament to be staged using the 6-Red format of the game and will see players from all eight main classification groups contest the title.
There will also be a Friday Open Day at which people with any disability or level of experience are encouraged to come and try snooker under the guidance of qualified WPBSA Snooker Coaches.
