Bio

Shabir Ahmed is the most successful deaf player ever on the WDBS tour with 11 titles to his name.

The former world number one won his first event title on his WDBS debut at the 2017 Paul Hunter Classic and continued to be a dominant force as the lifted eight titles across 2018 and 2019 in the Group 8 classification.

A two-time UK Disability Championship winner and the 2019 Champion of Champions, Ahmed made history by becoming the inaugural winner of the 2019 Disability Tour Championship held at the iconic Crucible Theatre in Sheffield by defeating Nick Neale and Daniel Blunn.
