Bio

Kristof De Bruyn is Belgium’s most successful deaf snooker player and won the World Disability Snooker Championship in 2025.

Competing in a combined Group 6+8 event, De Bruyn defeated Lee Hague 3-0 in the final in Thailand to make history for his nation.

The Belgian cueist made a winning start to life on the tour as he stormed to victory on home soil at the 2020 Belgian Open, defeating Shabir Ahmed 3-1 in the final.

Three years later, De Bruyn secured the 2023 UK Disability Championship title with a 3-2 victory over Dainton Barrass and would go on to reach three consecutive finals at the start of 2024 to earn a career-high ranking of number four.

In September 2024, De Bruyn successfully defended the UK Disability Championship by once again defeating Barrass in the final in Northampton. The following month, he won the Challenge Cup event for players who did not advance the the knockout stages at the first ever European Disability Snooker Championship.
