The Karnataka Disability Billiards & Snooker Association (KDBSA) held its first Disability Snooker Camp last weekend in Bengaluru, India.

The event, which took place on Saturday 25 August in the capital city of India’s southern Karnataka state, was attended by over 30 participants with a range of disabilities, who signed up from different regions with some newcomers discovering the sport for the very first time.

Former women’s World Billiards champion and 12-time Indian national champion R Umadevi Nagaraj was the guest of honour, providing her expertise and motivation to those in attendance on a memorable occasion for disability snooker in the country.

The camp was arranged by the KDBSA who aim to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to engage in billiards and snooker, promoting inclusivity, personal development, and sporting excellence.
