Entries are now being accepted for the return of the Belgian Open which will be held at The Trickshot, Bruges from 17-19 March 2023.
The event marks the first WDBS competition to be held outside of the UK since March 2020 and once again will be open to all eight disability classification groups.
As in previous years, the event will be held at The Trickshot Club in the historic city of Bruges. The venue is fully accessible and has hosted the tournament successfully on three previous occasions.
There will be no formal Open Day held on the Friday, with the first matches planned to be played at the later time of 6:00pm on Friday, to enable players to travel on the day.
As is the case at all WDBS events, at least four entries are preferred for a group to run. We reserve the right to combine groups where necessary.
For this year’s tournament the Hotel Velotel Bruges is offering a discounted rate (€80 per night + city tax) on bookings made directly through their website.
To access the discount please use the block code WDBSSNOOKER when booking and the discount will be applied at checkout.
Please be aware that accessible rooms are limited so we advise booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Bruges is easily accessible from the UK via car, rail or air. Further travel advice will be published shortly.
We are continuing to explore options to run a minibus service from England as in 2020 and will provide further information as soon as possible.
Entry for all WDBS events is made through the WPBSA SnookerScores website:
Your entry will only be formally accepted upon receipt of your online entry AND payment of your entry fee by the event entry deadline.
