World Disability Billiards and Snooker (WDBS) is today pleased to announce that Hudgell Solicitors have renewed their support for the 888lcd.co.uk WDBS Hull Open, which returns to the UK City of Culture 2017 this November.
Hudgell Solicitors are a Hull-based legal services provider, operating nationally with further offices in London, Leeds and Bristol. They aim to provide a unique and customised service to all of their clients and specialise in advising on personal injury and medical negligence compensation claims. They were founded in 1997 by managing director Neil Hudgell, who also acts as Chairman of rugby league team Hull Kingston Rovers, and are a key sponsor of the Humber Disability Sports Awards, held annually in the region.
Following its successful inaugural staging in 2016, the 888lcd.co.uk Hull Open will again be held at the Tradewell Snooker Centre from 10-12 November 2017. The main two-day weekend competition will be open to players with visual and hearing disabilities (Groups 1-5), with a tournament also being held for players with learning disabilities (Group 6) on the Friday.
Once again, there will also be a free open day held during the weekend, with people with any disabilities encouraged to come along and try snooker, with no previous experience required on Friday 10 November. There will be WPBSA World Snooker coaches on site throughout the day to provide coaching and there will be a buffet available early in the afternoon.
The entry deadline for the 888lcd.co.uk Hull Open is Friday 3 November 2017 – download the full entry pack for more information.
