Bio

Mike Gillespie is a five-time WDBS event winner and the current world number one in the visual Group 7 classification.

He made a winning start to life on the WDBS tour by defeating Paul Smith 3-1 to win the 2017 Paul Hunter Disability Classic and would later add ranking event titles in Hull, Stockport, Bruges and Rüsselsheim to his collection over the next few years.

Gillespie’s greatest success came at the 2023 Champion of Champions where he once again overcame Smith, this time by a 6-4 scoreline, to lift the trophy at the Landywood Snooker Club.
